The Ball Quad Sets is a great lower body exercise building and toning your lower body quad region as you stabilize yourself on your fitness ball.
Preparation: Begin by sitting on the ball, knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Tighten up your abs and place your hands on the ball for balance.
Breathing: Exhale as you lift your knee, inhale as you return to start.
Execution: This is harder than it looks! Shift your weight to your right foot and exhale, lifting your left knee as high as you can. Try not to lose your balance while keeping your back straight. Hold this for 30 seconds while breathing normally, then release and inhale. Repeat with the other leg.
Comments: Don't be discouraged if you lose your balance; just refocus, retighten your abs and go for it again!
